Our core privacy principle
PDF Vault is designed so file processing happens in your browser. When you use tools such as photo resize, PDF compression, image conversion, crop, rotate, watermark or background removal, the work is performed by JavaScript running on your own device.
We do not upload, store, view, sell or share the files you process with PDF Vault tools. Your photos, PDFs, signatures and documents stay on your device unless you choose to send them somewhere yourself.
Information we collect
We collect limited website analytics such as page views, referrers, device type, browser type, approximate location and tool usage events. This helps us understand which pages are useful and where the site needs improvement.
If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to include in that message, such as your email address and support question.
Advertising, cookies and Google services
PDF Vault uses Google AdSense for advertising and Google Analytics for site measurement. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons or similar identifiers to serve ads and measure performance based on visits to this site and other sites.

Children
PDF Vault is a general document utility site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can block cookies in your browser, use private browsing, opt out of personalized ads through Google Ads Settings, or avoid sending personal information by email. File tools continue to work locally in the browser where supported.
